The supplementary programme Data Literacy serves the purpose of providing academic and professional partial qualifications. The supplementary programme Data Literacy prepares students for the tasks they have to fulfil in a digitalized economy and society.
It therefore bundles basic concepts of computer science and the handling of data, teaches ways of working and thinking in computer science, and promotes a critical perspective on the handling of data.
Students gain insight into central areas of data literacy, which include the collection, management, evaluation of data as well as data-based cognition and decision-making processes.
